Google has made it relatively easy for us to insert one of their maps right on our websites. It is useful to put one of these maps right on the page we create for driving directions to our church/business/organization.
- Go to Google Maps at http://maps.google.com/
- Paste or type in the full address of your organization into the search box.

- Click "Search Maps"
- You are shown your address on a map.
- Zoom in or out using the plus or minus on the left side of the map until you have the level of detail you want your users to see on your website map.
- Click the small "Link" hyperlink at the top-right of the map.

- Click the link to "Customize and preview embedded map."
- Customize the map size to yoru preferences.
- Copy the entire contents of the "Copy and paste HTML to embed in website" box.
- Close the Google Maps customize box.
- Now go back to your website
- Go to the page where you want the map.
- Either create a new text/HTML module on your page for the map or you can use an existing module.
- Edit text or edit content on the module you have chosen.
- Click the source button on the top-left of the editor toolbars.
- Paste the code you copied from Google into this code view. Be careful not to break the code that might already be in there.
- Click the source button again.
- You should see your map in the editor.
- Save your changes to the module.
- The map should be showing on your page now. You may go back into edit mode and add any text around your map image that you like.
- Done
