Your choices are: 1. Go back to the live DNN install and change the setting to un-enforce SSL security and make another backup and transfer to local or 2. a. Go into the database and un-enforce SSL by opening the Portal Settings table. Find the records for SSLEnabled and SSLEnforced and change their SettingValue fields to false. b. Then edit the web.config file a little and save it. Browse to the home page again to restart the application. OR 3. Log in to one of the other portals on the install as host. Go to the portals icon in the host menu or the Manage Websites icon and edit the site settings of the site you need to get into to un-check the SSL Enabled and the SSL Enforced settings and save. You'll be able to log in now. [/quote]
